After being aware of pollution and the need to reduce, reuse and recycle, in 2017, the idea was born, beginning with reducing the use of wood in our construction projects and replacing it with recycled plastic. In 2018, the assembly of a plastic recycling plant began, to venture into commercialization and use of recycled products derived from plastic within the field of construction, thus contributing to sustainable development.
The process consists by gathering plastic waste, crushing and baking to obtain plates 1.15 meters wide by 2.50 meters long and of variable thickness. During the testing and learning process of manufacturing plates, the manufacture of prototypes such as flower pots, garbage cans, and pet houses, among others, was done, so the plate name was born, GreenPlastic. Green as part of the original idea of reducing the use of wood and the felling of forests; plastic because it is the opportunity to use single-use plastics again. It is recyclable in addition to being a recycled product.
